A Cowboy Collective + Spoonflower Partnership

Durham favorite Spoonflower connects makers and artists all over the world via textiles and home goods, designed and sized for specific projects. Our years-long partnership with Spoonflower gives us a chance to celebrate multiple things we love: good design, local businesses, and bringing creative dreams to life. 

We’ve worked with Spoonflower on a series of retouching projects over the course of their seasonal promotions, helping their beautiful textiles pop onscreen through color correction and compositing. We’ve played a role on set, too, with production and digitech assistance. We also create lighthearted gifs for Spoonflower’s social media, like the stacking fabrics and disappearing pillows above.

This is a shot of our retouching work for their petal solids line, which included different combinations of colored stacks and three different folds of all 50 colors for their website.

This ad inspired website visitors to imagine a custom laptop cover from Spoonflower’s fabric. Here’s the retouching progression!
