The Cowboy Story

Born and based in Durham, North Carolina, Cowboy was founded in 2020 by three creatives who came together during a moment of global pause. In the midst of the pandemic, we collected our resources, relationships, and experience to build a more meaningful, people-centered approach to production and creative work.

Today, we assemble trusted creative talent, strategic thinking, and production resources into custom-built teams for each project. Small by design and experienced by practice, we’re committed to crafting and supporting thoughtful, high-quality photo, video, and brand marketing work—built from the ground up and driven by care for both the work and the people behind it.
