Durham ID
Produced by Cowboy
Durham ID (short for Durham Innovative District) is a 27-acre project in the heart of our city, intended to create spaces where people can live, work, and play. This production was special to us because it gave us an opportunity to highlight a growing part of our hometown. We love showcasing our local community!
Our friend (and fellow Durhamite) Alex Boerner reached out to Cowboy to produce a lifestyle shoot for Longfellow, Durham ID’s owner and a real estate partner of Duke University. We’ve run in overlapping professional circles with Alex for years, but this project marked an exciting transition for us—from peers to collaborators! With our support over two days, Alex photographed Durham ID’s various spaces, amenities for future tenants, and key neighborhood attractions like the Durham Food Hall & nearby farmer’s market.
Durham ID envisions its campus as “Durham’s core for research, creativity, interaction, and entertainment.” We’ve loved seeing the space develop, from state-of-the-art lab expansions to new colorful murals, and we’re looking forward to what’s ahead!
